Moutain iPad Wallpaper of the Black Cullin

Mountain iPad wallpaper capured during a trip to Isle of Skye, Scotland. The image were captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 Zoom lens.

The image is very simple showing the Black Cullin with the first snow this year I like how the white show on the black rocks on the mountain made great textures with the dark clouds in the background!

Red Apple iPad Wallpaper

After reading the book about Steve Jobs I feel in love with the book cover and though I would make an iPad wallpaper themed after the book: The Red Apple iPad Wallpaper. I love making these simple wallpapers for the iPad and hope you enjoy using them. It’s a great book btw with lots of insight about Jobs thought and actions in his life – how he fought cancer and how his personality inflicted the people around him.

It’s interesting the read about how Apple started and how – with and without Steve Jobs developed into how we know it today.

iPad Wallpaper with Sunset over Yellow Mountain, Huangshan

Sunrise at Huangshan or the Yellow mountain. The iPad Wallpaper was captured during sunset when I visited the Yellow mountain in China last year. The area is known for its beautiful scenery, peculiarly shaped peaks and Huangshan Pine trees. Huangshan is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature, as well as modern photography. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of China’s major tourist destinations.

Together with hundreds of other visitors we got up very early to watch to sun riser and illuminate the mountains with warm orange light. Never before have a share the view of a sunrise with so many people – an excited moment.  A few minutes after the image were captured all people disappeared  and we had the whole area for us self.

Blurry Forest iPad Wallpaper

Forest iPad Wallpaper captured in the fall just before the leaves were gone. The nature photograph was captured while moving the camera to make a more blurry and abstract image of the forest. I like the texture and the green moss together with the warm orange leave of the Larch trees. There is a nice resemblance to this birch wallpaper.

The image was captures with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 24-105mm f/4 Zoom lens.

Maritime iPad Wallpaper from St. Ives

Maritime iPad Wallpaper Captured at the Cornish village St. Ives. Getting some images for a gallery in St. Ives we spent some days taking photos in the Maritime and romantic village of St. Ives in Cornwall. Generally you would like some sun but we enjoyed some dark clouds and showers.

It’s a great location and a wonderful place to be in weather like this – there is great places to get coffee and wonderful Cornish pasties. The photo was captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the 24-105mm f/4 lens.

Fishnet iPad Wallpaper of from small village in Cornwall

Fishnet iPad Wallpaper from a small fishing village in Cornwall, England. On the harbour several boxes were full of fishnet and with some rain on a cloudy day they were great objects to photograph. I walked around the village with my Canon 5D Mark II and the 24-105mm f/4 lens. Unfortunately I left the tripod in the car so had to rely on the IS (image stabilizer) in the lens to get good images with no blur.

Winter iPad wallpaper from and image for grass in snow

Winter iPad Wallpaper photographed on Isle of Skye during the first snow last year. I like the simple composition in the image and the easy feel and lines of grass. We had just used the morning getting images of the sunrise and on the way back I saw this grass on a small lake covered with newly fallen snow.

The Winter iPad Wallpaper was captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 Zoom lens. The image is cropped and in native iPad 2 resolution – ready to use!

Vintage Ford iPad Wallpaper Captured in Leipzig

The Ford iPad Wallpaper was captured in Leipzig, Germany and edited in Adobe Photoshop. The 1968 Ford E-Series revolutionized van design by moving the engine all the way to the front under a short hood. The Ford E-Series, formerly known as the Econoline or Club Wagon, is a line of full-size vans and truck chassis from the Ford Motor Company.

In Photoshop I removed the license plate and added some saturation among some blur. The photo was captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the 24-105mmm f/4 Canon lens.

Green Slate iPad Wallpaper

Green Slate iPad Wallpaper was captured in the Lake District using the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 24-105mm f/4. Visiting this old slate min in Autumne to capture some autumn colors but also used some time to get some textures of the great leftovers of the slate that never made it to the workshop. Some mining still takes place today – for example slate mining continues at the Honister Mine, at the top of Honister Pass. But i like the abandoned mine-workings that can be found on fell-sides throughout the lake district, including the impressive Hodge Close Quarry in Langdale.

The iPad Wallpaper have been edited in Adobe Photoshop to give it a subtle look and adding some blur on the edges. If you are looking for other wallpapers you should have a look in the Gallery.

Cobbled iPad Wallpaper

Cobbled Street from Cornwall. The iPad Wallpaper of Cobbled Street is captured with the Canon 5D Mark II just after a heavy rain shower. The sun is reflected in the wet stones which makes the colors to pop out. Cobblestone are largely replaced by quarried granite or asphalt these days but I like them and traveling around in south Cornwall they really adds atmosphere to the small town.
