Wood iPad Wallpaper for the Apple iPad

High retina resolution wallpaper for the Apple iPad. I’ve put together a panorama of two images to create a high resolution wallpaper which is also available for the Apple iPad.

The wooden texture may seem a bit boring but personally I think it’s a great piece to use as a wallpaper for the iPad. I like the organic feel of week and adding it to your desktop is another way to personalise and make you iPad look great.

If you are interested in wooden products you should keep an eye on Nordic Appeal which will soon be announcing some incredible products for the Mac. The products should be made in some of the finest wood so I for one is excited!

Metro Berlin iPad Wallpaper

Metro Berlin Wallpaper made for the retina Apple iPad 2048 x 2048px Display. I love walking in Berlin with the Canon 5D Mark II and the small gem of a 50mm f/1.8.

The Canon 50mm f/1.8 take fantastic images are fantastic sharp and very light to carry around when taking a long walk in the city. Compared to a zoom lens you will have to walk a bit more to get the right composition as you cannot zoom in or our on the lens. On the other hand you can set the aperture to 1.8 to minimise depth of field and really isolate your subject.

The lens is the cheapest in my camera bag and one of the sharpest and one of the most used!

Kunsthaus Tacheles iPad Wallpaper

Kunsthaus Tacheles! The end of an era in Berlin. The Kunsthaus Tacheles is located in the old Jewish quarter of East Berlin and takes it’s name from the Yiddish for truth. It used to be an department store and was occupied by a collective of artists in 1990 only two months before its planned demolition. Due to a problem with its lease its future is currently under threat.

Between 40 to 60 artists have been using this building and made this to a tourist attraction! The building is now set to be demolished and an era is gone in Berlin.

Here is an iPad Wallpaper from one of my recent trips to Berlin – I for one will miss the building and the artists.

Pine Trees iPad Wallpaper

Pine trees photograph from a Danish forest in early spring. This wallpaper is was captured on gray day which is why it have a nice soft look. I really prefer to take pictures on days with clouds because I think the light is much better than on a sunny day. I like the dark tones and give the pine forest a bit of atmosphere.

I captured the image with the Canon 5D Mark II and the favorite the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. The iPad Wallpaper have been cropped and edited in Adobe Lightroom 3.

Green Retro Volkswagen Campervan

Volkswagen Retro Campervan iPad Wallpaper – A green campervan from the V-Dub island rally on Isle of Wight!  The classic Volkswagen campers are icons of a camper lifestyle here i UK.

I’ve edited the retro campervan to be a miniature Volkswagen – I especially love the very old split screen campers. We have been traveling around on Isle of Wight and been camping right next to the turquoise sea and faling asleep listening to the waves. We have had to most wonderful dreams and nights on the edge!

Copenhagen Bike from Vesterbro

Bike in Copenhagen. A lovely Vesterbro Scene with red bike park along a door with graffiti on a cobbled road. This is so typical for Vesterbro in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I like how the danes to bike in Copenhagen – you can simply not get around fast enough without a bike in Copenhagen. After living in UK for year It’s really alarming how little brits bike and how many cars are on the roads in Edinburgh. Compared to Denmark its really dangerous to bike on the roads of UK and very seldom is there bike lanes or they are separate from the roads and not taking you where you want to go on a daily basis!

Anyway I like the red bike and the atmospheric image.

Edinburgh Taxi iPad Wallpaper

Atmospheric Edinburgh Taxi iPad Wallpaper. I’ve kept a few of the colours on the posters and signs but desaturated the rest and made i look a bit dark to make it less distractive.

I have lived in Edinburgh for nearly four years and that have been some of the best years in my life. I had never imagined how beautiful the Edinburgh city is or how in love I would fell in this old and beautiful city. Everywhere in Edinburgh can you find great spots for taking images – visit farmers market or have a stroll through Stockbridge.

Pine Tree Bark iPad Wallpaper

I went out in the Danish forest with the Canon 5D Mark II and the small 50mm f/1.8 standard lens. The weather was perfect for textures in the forest so I captures the textures of the bark.

I really prefer to take pictures on days with clouds because I think the light is much better than on a sunny day. The image have been cropped and edited in Adobe Lightroom 4.

To help keeping track of my images I have added a watermark for these large iPad 3 wallpapers in 2048 x 2048px resolution.
