Insect Illustration of a hover fly -- Callicera aurata
The Fly illustration iPad Wallpaper show a rare hover fly called Callicera aurata. This particular example was captured in the north western part of Denmark. The illustration have been show in an article about the fly and is also selected to be on the front of a book about chemical reactions in insects.
